One of my favorite things in life is the moment when I truly understand the problem and it's solution - when the light bulb goes on. When working as a security officer I never stopped wondering about the constant resistance to existing, or new, controls in the organisation. I came to realize that my views, as the inventor and enforcer of these controls, differed from the views of the other employees and the acknowledgement of the existence of different cultures within the organisation. This inspired me to study for a masters degree in social anthropology, which I dedicated to learn as much as possible about security culture. The most important thing I learned through the studies was the ability view issues from someone else's perspective, and assuming this one to be equally correct as my own, within its own rationality. My background has helped me to experience a lot of light bulb moments the last few years. My goal is to help clients achieve the same.
