We donated our rarely used business clothes to make a positive impact and contribute to a society with a more responsible consumption and production.
As a part of our CSR committee, we have a dedicated team who works with UN’s sustainable development goal 12; responsible consumption and production. The team members Hege Markussen, Anna Nousiainen and Karin Berger have successfully conducted a CSR initiative, to collect business clothes and accessories to donate to Myrorna (Sweden) and Fretex (Norway), two second hand shops who donate all profits to the social work of the Salvation Army.
At TG, we want to do the little extra for the world we live in and we strongly believe that it is important that we as a company take a social responsibility. Therefore, we have a dedicated CSR committee who works with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The committee has decided to focus on 3 of the goals; quality education, gender equality and responsible consumption and production.
The committee saw an opportunity to contribute to a sustainable environment with less consumption while helping people in need just by getting everyone at TG to donate their rarely used business clothes. By encouraging everyone to donate to second hand, we can give clothes a longer life and contribute to a more responsible consumption and production.
The goals and targets we’re committed to are:
