The end of the year approaches. When it comes to 2020, most of us are happy to put this one behind us and look ahead to 2021 with hope and new energy. As we reflect on a tumultuous year, our desire to help others and to support positive change in the world remains unmoved. Our traditional Christmas gift, in place of gifts to employees and clients, remains a highlight, something we all look forward to as a shared TG experience.
The process of choosing which organization to support is led by TG’s CSR Committee, which proposes a shortlist and provides a poll so that all employees can participate through voting.
We love being able to make a difference and this year we have chosen as a group to donate the entire amount, 84,750 SEK, to SOS Children’s Villages. We are absolutely delighted to support this organization in its efforts to improve the lives of at-risk children and families in 136 countries and territories around the world. The current pandemic has made the challenges faced by such children even greater and as the recently appointed CEO of SOS Children’s Villages points out, the organization “represents the best of humanity: the offer of care for a child or a helping hand to families in need”.
