Transcendent Group elects external board members

Transcendent Group has elected external board members in order to enhance corporate governance and to increase the independent part of the Board of Directors.

Transcendent Group is a company, where only the main owners have been represented in the board. Transcendent Group has experienced a strong profitable growth in its operations for many years. In the lights of the rapid growth and international expansion, the owners have now concluded that it is time to separate ownership matters from the work in the Board of Directors, and to introduce a Board of Directors also containing independent members. With the strategic agenda set by the owners, new independent members of the Board of Directors will provide additional value to the corporate governance.

Board members

Among the new board that was elected at the Annual General Meeting on the 23rd of May remains; Håkan Berg and Magnus Juvas. Håkan Berg has more than 30 years of experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance in the financial sector. Magnus Juvas was one of the founders of the company, but is no longer active as an employee at Transcendent Group.

 

The new external board members, elected on the Annual General Meeting are;

Sigrun Hjelmqvist

Sigrun has been 20 years at Ericsson in a number of different senior positions and finally as CEO of Ericsson Components AB, with a turnover of 9 bn. SEK. After her time in Ericsson, she founded and partnered Brainheart Capital, a Risk Capital company. Sigrun has been a professional board member since 2005, and currently holds a BoD membership in three listed companies (Addnode Group AB, Eolous Vind AB and Edgeware AB)

 

Ingrid Nordlund

Ingrid started her career at Proffice and continued to NGS Group 2008 and became CEO 2010. NGS Group is a market leading staffing and recruitment agency listed on Nasdaq with a turnover of around 700 m. SEK. Ingrid is also a board member on the listed company OEM International.

 

Lars O Andersson

Lars started his career with 17 years at IBM. After IBM, he has founded and developed consultancy firms within IT such as; Corda Consulting AB, Mind AB, Canvisa Consulting AB. Canvisa AB was integrated in Tieto in the end of 2013 where he became responsible for Tieto’s overall business transformation for clients within the financial sector. In 2015, he also became responsible for Tieto’s M&A activities in the financial sector. Today, Lars is a professional Board member with assignments among other in Forex Bank and Biocool.
