Arriën van Deursen joined Transcendent Group’s office in Amsterdam on the 2nd of January.

Arriën has over 8 years of experience within the financial sector of which the last 2 years within the Dutch Central Bank as a supervisor on payment systems and market infrastructures. Prior to that, he worked over 6 years as an IT audit specialist auditing and advising banking, insurance, and other financial institutions on their governance, IT and operational processes. Arriën has extensive knowledge of (internal) audit, risk and compliance processes and control frameworks within financial organizations.
Arriën studied Business Administration and completed the postgraduate master IT audit, compliance and advisory at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and is a certified IT auditor.
