My goal is to use my background to help organizations in both private and public sector. I have worked within information science and software security, ten years as a developer and architect, ten years as CISO, around three years as a DPO, and being a certified information system security professional (CISSP). I love to help leaders find a practical and pragmatic way to survive the clash between compliance requirements and the growing need to digitize any business, private or public. All leaders need to keep track of and govern his or her information flows, assets, vulnerabilities and threats, manage the risk involved and do it all in compliance with an ever-increasing pile of requirements through law, regulations, contracts, strategies and plans. In the last ten years, I have been working with leaders on all levels of a big organization and thrive to help others build a systematic approach to and establish an organizational culture around the management of information security (ISO27K, ISF SoGP, NIST CSF, CIS 20) and privacy (GDPR).
